About the Role:

  • Lead a team of staff in the operational management of services, including supervision, appraisal, performance management, and ensuring staff adhere to organizational and external policies.
  • Empower staff to promote hope, empowerment, choices, control, and opportunities that enable service users to reach their full potential as individuals and community members.
  • Develop and lead on GP Shared Care/Partnership Working initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Designated Safeguarding Lead to ensure practices within the team/service enable the identification of service users, children, and families at risk, and that staff are competent in delivering interventions that reduce risk.
  • Support staff to improve service user outcomes through observed practice and timely, values-based feedback.
  • Lead the recruitment, selection, and induction of staff.

About You:

  • Hold a degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Have knowledge and experience of developing and leading health and social care services, delivering services that evidence high performance and quality standards.
  • Have significant experience of leading teams working with families where children are subject to social care intervention.
  • Be knowledgeable about current legislation surrounding children, young people, and safeguarding practice.
  • Able to lead, inspire, and develop a team.
  • possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be proficient in common MS Office applications (Word/Excel/Outlook).
