Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Enhanced Support Worker to contribute to our services aimed at young individuals.

Compensation:

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a designated caseload as assigned by management.
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of needs and potential risks, establishing support levels and actions in line with professional standards.
- Collaborate with individuals to create a positive behavior support plan that identifies triggers and necessary actions for positive risk-taking.
- Assist clients in engaging with their support programs.
- Aid clients in claiming and receiving eligible benefits, and work with relevant agencies to enhance life skills, budgeting, and financial management.
- Encourage clients to maintain their rent payments and ensure effective management of rent accounts.
- Motivate individuals to prepare nutritious meals safely, assist with shopping, and provide guidance on selecting balanced food options.

Qualifications:
Essential:
- NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent experience in social care or charity sectors.
- Ability to adapt to challenging situations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Skills in planning, managing, and evaluating outcome-focused activities and support programs.
- Interpersonal skills to foster relationships with young people in both individual and group settings.
- Resilience and strong teamwork capabilities.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of the legal framework governing services, including relevant legislation.
