Advanced Clinical Practitioner Opportunity at HMP Ranby

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team at HMP Ranby, Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality patient-centered care to our client group.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in healthcare, with experience of working in primary care, community settings, or prison environments. You will be able to demonstrate advanced clinical assessment, critical thinking, and clinical management skills, as well as the ability to work within a multi-professional team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient-centered care to our client group
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans
  • Contribute to the development and direction of the service, including service improvement initiatives
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to other healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • NMC Registered or HCPC Registered
  • Teaching and assessing qualification
  • Degree at 2.2 Level, 2 maths and English (GCSE grade A*-C or O levels grade 1-6)
  • Post-registration qualification or training relevant to specialty
  • Working towards MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice
  • Mentor/Assessor and/or teaching qualification
  • Non-Medical prescribing (if service need requires)
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Experience of first contact/triage processes within primary care/community care or prison settings
  • Significant experience of working in Primary healthcare/community setting at an advanced clinical level
  • Experience of clinical leadership
  • Minimum of 4 years post-registration
  • Experience of developing services
  • Experience of working with offenders/criminal justice system
  • Experience of clinically supervising others
  • Experience in using research evaluation/audit tools and demonstrating need.
  • Evidence of involvement in policy and practice change
Contractual
  • A full UK driving licence and a vehicle for business use

Depending on experience: £50,952 - £57,349 per annum (pro rata for part-time)
