Advanced Clinical Practitioner Opportunity at HMP Ranby

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team at HMP Ranby, Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality patient-centered care to our client group.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical leadership, with experience of working in primary healthcare/community settings at an advanced clinical level. You will be responsible for managing patients with complex co-morbid needs, working alongside other health professionals to deliver integrated healthcare services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced clinical assessment, critical thinking, and clinical management skills to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.
  • Develop and implement clinical leadership strategies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with other health professionals to deliver integrated healthcare services.
  • Contribute to the development and direction of the service, working closely with the clinical team to achieve first-class care.
Requirements
  • NMC Registered or HCPC Registered.
  • Teaching and assessing qualification.
  • Degree at 2.2 Level, 2 maths and English (GCSE grade A*-C or O levels grade 1-6).
  • Post-registration qualification or training relevant to specialty.
  • Working towards MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice.
  • Mentor/Assessor and/or teaching qualification.
  • Non-Medical prescribing (if service need requires).
Skills and Knowledge
  • Ability to lead and motivate staff.
  • Broad range of clinical skills - acute and long-term condition management.
  • Advanced assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to develop positive working relationships.
  • Report writing skills.
  • Knowledge of Clinical Governance and Risk.
Contractual
  • A full UK driving licence and a vehicle for business use.
