Our esteemed Global Financial Services organization is in search of an Information Security Advisor who can evaluate the current strategy and progress, subsequently producing a report that will delineate the strategic direction.

The ideal candidate will be an expert in formulating a comprehensive Cyber Security Strategy, aimed at protecting the organization against cyber threats.

Prior experience in strategic cyber consultancy within the financial services domain would be advantageous, though not mandatory for success in this role.


Key Responsibilities:

Evaluation and Analysis:
Review the existing security strategy and progress, and articulate the strategic direction.

Future Strategy Development:
Identify and recommend future cyber services and capabilities, including automation and compliance with regulations.

Documentation:
Create business documentation for prospective projects, outlining scope, benefits, risks, and cost estimates.

Financial Planning:
Develop a detailed budgeting model in Excel for the proposed strategy, including comprehensive cost breakdowns and scenario analyses.

Presentation to Executives:
Summarize findings and recommendations in a compelling presentation for senior management and board-level stakeholders.

Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity strategy formulation and risk assessment.

Thorough understanding of cybersecurity trends, best practices, and solutions.

Excellent communication skills for articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Relevant experience and possibly certifications in Information Security (e.g., CCISO, CISSP, CISM).

Innovative problem-solving abilities and industry-specific knowledge.

We seek a strategic thinker with extensive expertise in cybersecurity to help shape our client's future security posture and ensure robust protection against evolving cyber threats.
