Job Title: Arboriculture Lead Climber

Join our team at Tom Boswell Tree Services as an Arboriculture Lead Climber and contribute to delivering exceptional tree surgery work.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and committed individual to fill this key position. As an Arboriculture Lead Climber, you will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking an active climber role, delivering high-quality and safe tree surgery, tree removal, and stump grinding services.
  • Participating in a team of tree surgeons and ground staff to complete daily tree surgery operations safely and to a high standard.
  • Contributing to health and safety work programmes, in line with industry best practice.
  • Managing company resources effectively, contributing to financial efficiencies.
  • Demonstrating commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining industry-relevant qualifications.
  • Ensuring confidentiality and adhering to relevant information governance legal requirements.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • GCSEs in English, Maths, and other subjects.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry best practice in arboriculture.
  • Computer skills, including email and document management.
  • Experience in maintaining tree surgery-related equipment.
  • A highly self-motivated and committed approach to continuous development.
  • Resilience and flexibility in implementing new ideas and changes.
  • A current driving license.
  • Relevant NPTC units, including chainsaw maintenance, tree felling, and aerial rescue.
