At Zeta Services, we are on the lookout for a Fire Safety Advisor to become a vital part of our team, focusing on projects throughout the South of England. If you possess a background in Health and Safety and have transitioned into a specialization in Fire Safety and Risk Assessment, this role could be the perfect fit for you.

What We Provide:

We are prepared to offer a competitive base salary with an OTE of up to £55,000 for this position, welcoming candidates from various experience levels. Additionally, we provide a company vehicle scheme, a 3% pension contribution, private healthcare options, and a cycle-to-work initiative.

Core Responsibilities:

Your role will involve delivering expert fire safety guidance and practical solutions to clients in the construction sector, identifying fire safety hazards, and documenting findings accordingly.

Participate in client meetings to offer both legislative and practical fire safety advice.

Carry out fire risk assessments in accordance with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 within our construction client portfolio.

Generate clear and detailed reports, outlining necessary remedial actions.

Qualifications and Experience:

A minimum of two years of experience conducting fire risk assessments on construction sites (in-house training will be available if needed regarding the construction aspect) and ideally holding a level 4 or higher Fire Risk Assessment qualification from the Institution of Fire Engineers, the Fire Protection Association, or the Institute of Fire Managers.

Proficiency in drafting comprehensive technical reports.

Current knowledge of fire safety regulations, legislation, technical standards, and best practices.

Experience with BAFE validation is desirable, along with membership in IFA/IFSM and third-party accreditation with the Institution of Fire Engineers register or a commitment to join.
