About the Role
We are seeking compassionate, innovative, and reflective individuals who are dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children, young people, and their families. Candidates should embody our core values: respect, kindness, curiosity, collaboration, efficiency, forward-thinking, and a trauma-informed approach.

- Individual therapy
- Family therapy

We employ an eclectic mix of treatment modalities, including Schema Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mentalization-Based Treatment, Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Systemic Family Therapy, Family-Based Treatment (FBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), psychotherapy, play therapy, and pharmacotherapy.
Collaboration and Professional Development
As part of the North of Scotland regional CAMHS Tier 4 network, we work closely with the local inpatient unit and various partner agencies to enhance community mental health support. Our dedicated Early Intervention team plays a crucial role in this effort.
We prioritize professional growth through tailored line management, peer group supervision, and a robust monthly Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program. We also host trainees from Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and Child and Young People’s Mental Health programs.
Qualifications
Applicants should have prior clinical experience working with children and adolescents, particularly in CAMHS settings. Experience in collaborative work with other professionals and partner organizations is advantageous, as is any published research or audit experience. We welcome applications from those who are nearing qualification and those interested in remote work opportunities.
