A Day in the Life of a Residential Senior Support Worker

In this position, your daily activities will vary greatly, reflecting the diverse needs of those in your care. You will provide direct assistance, collaborate with the residential senior supervisor on medication management, and support health-related appointments and evaluations. Your commitment to a person-centered approach guarantees that every resident receives the specialized care they deserve. As a senior member of the team, you will offer guidance and support to your colleagues, fostering a respectful and nurturing environment. Your effective communication skills and dedication to making a positive impact will be vital in our mission to cultivate a caring community that promotes growth and independence. With comprehensive training and the backing of your team, you will assist with personal care and be a friendly presence in the lives of residents, honoring their individuality and celebrating their life stories.

Qualifications We Seek

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in care, either professional or personal.
  • A Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Proven leadership skills that reflect the organization's values.
  • Ability to lead a shift and supervise fellow team members.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
