Residential Care Manager for Children with Disabilities

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Registered Manager to lead our residential children's home in Warrington. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the home, ensuring it runs efficiently and effectively while maintaining the highest standards of care for the children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the home, including staff supervision and management.
- Ensure the home meets the required standards of care and quality, as set out by Ofsted and other regulatory bodies.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the home runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Work closely with the team to provide a high level of care and support to the children.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the home operates within its means.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience managing an Ofsted-regulated home.
- Proven experience working in residential care for children with learning disabilities.
- Hold or be willing to achieve the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Care or an equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of current legislation, including Children's regulations, The Quality Standards, Every Child Matters, and a good understanding of the role of Ofsted.
- A full driving licence and own transport would be an advantage.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
- An annual bonus scheme (OTE £51,750).
