We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Clinical Care Team Leader to join our team at Swanton Care & Community Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day management of a shift, providing practical assistance and emotional support to empower your team in supporting the children they support to achieve their goals and aspirations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day management of a shift, ensuring the highest standard of care is provided to children with complex medical needs.
- Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower your team in supporting the children they support.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child.
- Collaborate with the Registered Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the residential home.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Contribute to the development of the company's policies and procedures.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the company's strategic plan.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Relevant qualifications in health and social care or residential childcare.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of current legislation and policies related to childcare and social care.
- Ability to coordinate a shift and prioritize care needs.
- Driver's license and ability to drive a minibus.
