Project Manager for Facility Upgrades

Highbury Recruitment is collaborating with a well-established engineering firm to recruit a Facility Project Manager on a contractual basis. The primary responsibility will be to oversee the enhancement of a testing facility.

As the key contact person, you will take charge of planning and organizing resources, addressing challenges, and ensuring that the upgrade of the HV test facility is executed efficiently, adhering to budget constraints and business objectives.

The ideal candidate will be expected to:

  • Assume full responsibility for the project from the moment the tender file is received until the project reaches completion.
  • Serve as the principal communication link between the client and the operational team.
  • Continuously monitor project advancement, engaging with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Create project timelines, track progress against these timelines, and provide timely updates according to client specifications.
  • Facilitate and participate in internal meetings.
  • Organize and attend client meetings as necessary, particularly for progress evaluations.
  • Maintain comprehensive Project Status Reports, including the identification and communication of any budget discrepancies to the appropriate management personnel.
  • Promptly report any anticipated shortfalls in products or services to enable timely corrective measures.

Applicants should possess relevant experience in a comparable role, demonstrate a proactive approach, and exhibit strong communication skills.

A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering is required, and a Project Management Certification would be considered a significant advantage.

Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week

Monday to Thursday: 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)

Friday: 7:45 AM - 12:15 PM (no lunch break)
