Role Purpose
In this position, you will play a key role in crafting analytical solutions that yield insights into business performance and facilitate internal decision-making processes. Your focus will be on developing dynamic reporting solutions and dashboards while collaborating with essential business stakeholders to meet their information requirements.
This Data Insights Analyst role is situated within the Global Data function, which manages data governance, oversight, and reporting strategies across the organization. The function aims to enhance data trust, maximize its strategic value, and mitigate associated risks. You will contribute to the unification of data environments and technologies, ensuring that both internal and external data sources are accurately captured, integrated, and made accessible for decision support. Furthermore, you will deliver data-driven insights to our investment and business management teams through dynamic business intelligence reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders to gather information requirements and translate them into scalable business intelligence solutions.
- Provide training and support to enhance user adoption and address technical challenges.
- Demonstrate thought leadership and guidance, sharing knowledge and fostering innovation opportunities.
- Analyze business processes and systems to identify automation opportunities and enhance information delivery.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain business intelligence solutions, including dynamic dashboards, cubes, scheduled extracts, and parameterized reports.
- Create analytical data models and assist in designing data pipelines.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in developing business intelligence solutions.
- Experience in business partnering, preferably with a focus on sales or distribution within the asset management sector.
- Familiarity with the global asset management industry, including a working knowledge of the investment process and data domain.
- Extensive experience with business intelligence tools (such as Power BI or similar visual tools) and cloud data warehouses (like Snowflake or equivalent platforms).
- A degree in a technology or quantitative field such as Computer Science, Data Science, or Applied Mathematics.
- Expertise in SQL, with additional skills in data analysis or presentation languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript D3) being advantageous.
- Exceptional communication, consulting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal client groups.
- A collaborative and supportive team player committed to responsible investment principles.
