Mental Health Nurse Position

LeviCare Limited is seeking a skilled and compassionate Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team in Huddersfield and surrounding areas.
Main Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient-centered care, focusing on risk and safety management and safeguarding adult patients of all ages. Key duties include:
- Delivering care and interventions aimed at stabilizing mental health crises, ensuring patient safety and promoting recovery.
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans that promote patient independence, dignity, privacy, and safety.
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, carers, and other health professionals to ensure holistic care is provided, including coordinating with other services within the Care Trust.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification.
- Evidence of continuing professional development in relevant areas.
Additionally, the following qualifications and experience are desirable:
- Qualification in clinical supervision.
- Postgraduate education in psychological therapies.
- Teaching qualification or equivalent clinical teaching experience.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring flexibility and adaptability. The role involves working with patients in mental health crisis situations, collaborating with multi-agency teams, and working across service interfaces.
