Job Title: Economic Growth Champion - Agri-Tech Sector Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Economic Growth Champion to join our team at Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority. As an Economic Growth Champion, you will play a key role in driving the delivery of our strategic growth plans for the Agri-Tech and Food Technologies sector.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a strategic view of Agri-Tech growth potential across the Combined Authority, supporting the implementation and delivery of our Agri-Tech Strategy. You will identify and ensure funding opportunities to support the delivery of Agri-Tech growth in our region, develop partnerships with key stakeholders and delivery organisations, and work with our Skills Team to define priority skills and workforce sector needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a strategic view of Agri-Tech growth potential across the Combined Authority
  • Support the implementation and delivery of our Agri-Tech Strategy
  • Identify and ensure funding opportunities to support the delivery of Agri-Tech growth in our region
  • Develop partnerships with key stakeholders and delivery organisations
  • Work with our Skills Team to define priority skills and workforce sector needs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the Agri-Tech sector, excellent communication and project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels. You will also need to have a strong track record of delivering growth and development projects, and be able to demonstrate your ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
