We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Economic Growth Champion to join our team at Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority. As an Economic Growth Champion, you will play a key role in driving the delivery of our strategic growth plans for the Agri-Tech and Food Technologies sector.

About the Role:
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive growth and innovation in the Agri-Tech sector
  • Work closely with key stakeholders, including local authorities, businesses, and government departments to identify and secure funding opportunities
  • Lead on the development of partnerships and collaborations to support the delivery of our Agri-Tech sector growth programmes
  • Provide strategic policy advice to the Combined Authority on Agri-Tech sector growth and development
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and revise the current Agri-Tech Strategy and associated Action Plan to ensure it is fit for purpose
  • Provide a strategic view of Agri-Tech growth potential across the Combined Authority area
  • Identify and articulate priority skills and talent needs across the sector
  • Support the development of a Combined Authority Internationalisation plan and Innovation plan across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough
