We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Coordinator to join our team at Volunteering Matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering all aspects of our Grandmentors project across London, with a particular focus on Brent borough.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver the Grandmentors project, ensuring it achieves its aims, objectives, outcomes, and targets.
- Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and local authority staff at a day-to-day level.
- Recruit, train, and support volunteers in their roles, including processing expenses, DBS checks, and maintaining the database.
- Ensure regular communication between project staff and volunteers, and provide regular supervision for volunteers.
- Work with the line manager to ensure project expenditure is in line with the budget.
- Maintain accurate administration and records for all aspects of the project.
- Manage and maintain effective monitoring and evaluation records to capture impact and outcomes, and ensure contractual compliance.
- Implement and maintain appropriate risk assessment management processes.
- Prepare regular reports for internal and stakeholder purposes.
- Develop relevant information to promote and raise the profile of Volunteering Matters locally.
- Adhere to Volunteering Matters' Equality and Diversity Policy and all other relevant policies.
- Comply with applicable Health and Safety and Safeguarding regulations.
