Cyber Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team at BT Group. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing state-of-the-art security tools to protect our customers' data.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and implementation of SIEM functionality in line with requirements, architecture, and high-level solution design.
- Develop and implement technical strategies to proactively identify and mitigate security risks.
- Collaborate with security architects to identify and develop monitoring and protection strategies for BT/EE services.
- Provide technical leadership and design responsibility for one or more platforms.
- Design and implement the deployment of new cyber protection infrastructure.
- Develop and implement operational processes, policies, and procedures, including platform and secops processes.
- Drive continuous improvement within the team and provide effective technology coaching and mentoring.
- 3+ years of experience in design/implementation of security tools.
- Strong team work skills, with experience working with stakeholders and other team members.
- Experience in SIEM or similar cyber security tool development.
- Delivery of security tooling and Agile delivery experience.
