Job Overview

Transmission, a leading production company in the UK, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Video Editor to join its post-production team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing the editing process, from conceptualization to final delivery, for a variety of projects, including broadcast commercials and social media campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to advise on editing techniques and provide expertise on stock libraries for footage and sound.
  • Work with remote clients and on-set clients to deliver edited projects.
  • Responsible for resizing and subtitling projects for social media and online platforms.
  • Ensure quality control for all output, including reviewing and approving work from junior team members.
Requirements
  • 5 years of post-production experience, with at least 1 year at a senior level.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
  • Strong knowledge of video codecs and formats.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, liaising with colourists, VFX artists, and audio mixers.
  • Excellent colour grading skills using Lumetri and LUTs.
  • Good knowledge of trafficking an advert through Clearcast for broadcast delivery.
