The ideal candidate will have a passion for physics and experience in creating high-quality digital video / documentary content.

Responsibilities:

* Edit high-quality videos that incorporate live action and animation footage, utilizing video editing software and collaborating with animators
* Work closely with writers and researchers to ensure all video content is accurate, informative and engaging
* Sourcing and integrating third party footage to the edit
* Ensure that the channel\u2019s visual language and editing style is continued within all future edits
* Manage and organize video footage and all final deliverables as per our delivery specifications

Requirements:

* A passion for physics and science with the ability to communicate complex concepts to a broad audience
* 3+ years of experience in video editing and accompanying showreel, with an emphasis on digital content creation and experience with YouTube
* Advanced proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and other related software
* A strong understanding of YouTube and other social media platforms and how to optimize content for those platforms
* Experience with self-shooting or working as part of a small camera crew is a big plus
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
