Job DescriptionVideo Editor

We're looking for a creative and experienced video editor to join our remote digital video team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for composing clips, editing audio, and delivering polished videos related to programming.

  • Source, select, and import suitable media elements (videos, images, audio)
  • Manage multiple edit projects concurrently, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines and maintain project momentum
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation to ensure easy access to assets and seamless collaboration with team members
  • Assist in the production of Fireship's content to increase the quantity and variety of output, contributing to the growth and engagement of the audience
Requirements

We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience in video editing, with an emphasis on digital content creation and experience with YouTube
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and other related software
  • A strong understanding of YouTube and other social media platforms and how to optimize content for those platforms
  • Able to replicate the tone and style of the channel's content
