Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Trainee Pensions Administrator to join our team. As a Trainee Pensions Administrator, you will be responsible for producing calculations of member benefits, preparing explanatory letters, and maintaining client databases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce calculations of member benefits using pro forma or automated calculation routines.
  • Prepare explanatory letters to members, clients, and advisers.
  • Maintain client databases and update individual member records accurately and completely.
  • Input information on data files for bulk updates or producing reports.
  • Prepare letters to members, clients, and advisers to answer their questions and general enquiries.
  • Communicate with scheme members and clients, and deal with general telephone enquiries.
Requirements
  • Educated to 'A' level, degree level, or equivalents.
  • Previous office experience is useful but not essential.
  • Willingness to study for professional exams.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work under own steam and as a strong team player.
  • High standard of professionalism at all times.
