About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Trainee Pensions Administrator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our pensions team, ensuring the smooth operation of our day-to-day activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce calculations of member benefits using pro forma or automated calculation routines, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prepare explanatory standard letters to members, clients, and advisers, utilizing our established templates and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our client database and website, ensuring seamless data management.
  • Input information into data files for bulk updates, producing reports, and completing verification processes to ensure data accuracy.
  • Communicate with scheme members and clients, responding to general enquiries and providing clear, concise information.
  • Assist in maintaining records and ensuring data integrity, working closely with the team to achieve our goals.
Requirements
  • Educated to 'A' level or degree level, with a strong foundation in administration and data management.
  • Previous office experience is desirable, but not essential; a willingness to learn and adapt to our systems is crucial.
  • Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • A high standard of professionalism, with a flexible approach to work and a willingness to learn and develop.
