Your Role


This is an exciting opportunity to join the Consumer Commercial Finance team in a crucial business partnering position responsible for comprehensive financial management of the Digital channel.

You will be enthusiastic about propelling Vodafone's digital expansion, and this role is essential for executing the Distribution strategy plan.

Collaborating with business teams on:

  • Growth of the Digital channel
  • Trading decisions and performance optimization to maximize channel value
  • Capital expenditure and resource prioritization across Digital sales and Digital Care
  • Optimal cost of sale expenditure (A&R) for Drive and affiliates
Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Consumer Business units: eCommerce Marketing, Digital Trading, and Digital Product owners.
  • This role will facilitate the achievement of financial and trading objectives
  • Cultivate a strong understanding of the market, providing clear insights, action plans, and business strategies to drive growth.
Daily Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Finance Operations and FP&A to ensure precise cost accounting for relevant A&R areas (P&L) and balance sheet management, offering clear interpretations of month-end results
  • Analyze financial and KPI results, providing meaningful commentary and performance insights against forecasts, budgets, and year-over-year comparisons (A&R, Channel IBRO, Digital Mix KPI)
  • Proactively identify challenges and collaborate with the business to address key performance issues with actionable plans
  • Oversee Digital Sales and Care business cases, capital expenditure planning, and post-implementation reviews
  • Monitor ongoing initiatives and provide valuable insights to stakeholders
Budgeting and Forecasting. This role will lead the forecasting and planning processes for the business areas under its purview:

  • A&R for Drive and Affiliates (Cost and CPAs)
  • Manage and track risks & opportunities
  • Digital volume and MAF/Value (in collaboration with the Digital trading team)
  • Own the Digital mix % KPI forecasting and tracking
Project Involvement

  • Conduct Channel value and customer quality analysis (at both overall and sub-channel levels)
  • Lead in-depth activities on cost of sale management (A&R)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Capable of building relationships and influencing stakeholders
  • Understands how to support and appropriately challenge the business
  • Clear communicator able to convey complex information effectively
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines
  • CIMA/ACCA qualified accountant
