What you'll do
The Risk and Governance manager is accountable for the implementation of the compliance reporting and monitoring framework across Finance, specifically focusing on Billing, Credit Risk & Collections, to govern adoption of new rules, reporting and regulations which impact our customers. As the leader across Billing, Credit Risk & Collections, you'll be responsible for providing advice and guidance around regulations, along with producing monthly updates to the Leadership Team, and quarterly updates to the Finance Leadership Team:
Establish process for the embedding and ongoing management of compliance across Billing, Credit Risk & Collections, including ongoing management & Regulatory adherence across Consumer and Business
Identify gaps, formulate remedial action plans and manage to completion, raising risks as appropriate. Monitoring good customer outcomes, with plans and reporting in place for our highest areas of risk
Lead compliance across Billing, Credit Risk & Collections and ensure the necessary escalation into appropriate risk & governance structures in Vodafone UK, and into UK Compliance and centralised risk teams (2nd line of defence) Management of customer & operational GMT level owned risks/sub-risk and management of applicable forums & committees - creating presentations and reports, presenting and managing the discussion/outcomes
Represent Governance Risk and Control across key regulatory programmes
Working across our Partner teams to assure their compliance with risk and control (including Regulatory) commitments
Acting as a point of contact for Compliance and Business Risk functions (2nd line of defence) as relevant
Facilitate Finance risk council, work closely with Risk Champions, ensuring all information is up to date, organise forum, governance and actions.
Process established and ongoing management of governance framework, monitoring good customer outcomes, with plans and reporting in place for our highest areas of risk
Who you are
Risk Management expert, compliance and adherence to risk frameworks
Experience of operating in regulatory environment i.e. Consumer duty, FCA and Ofcom etc, embedding regulatory and conduct reporting
Experience in working a matrix environment with teams, peers and stakeholders
Excellent communication and influential skills to influence senior managers and peers to drive change & engagement across the organisation
Project Management expertise
