Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximizing revenue through effective sponsorship sales strategies
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities to enhance revenue and mutual value
  • Managing relationships with existing clients to strengthen partnerships
  • Reconnecting with former clients and rebuilding relationships as necessary
  • Meeting and surpassing monthly sales objectives
  • Achieving daily performance indicators
  • Maintaining a sales pipeline document for accurate reporting
  • Providing accurate business forecasts on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Collecting product and company feedback from clients and prospects
  • Rebooking clients during events, adhering to our rebooking procedures
  • Traveling to events to manage sponsor relationships and assist in event execution

Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A solid and proven background in selling high-value event sponsorships to prominent brands
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex sponsorship packages effectively, both over the phone and in person
  • Meticulous attention to detail, along with strong writing and proposal development skills
  • A passion for cultivating strong client relationships
  • The capability to sell conceptually using a consultative sales approach
  • A robust sales process understanding, including how to create credible urgency and close deals
  • Excellent research abilities to identify new sales leads and key decision-makers
  • A strong ambition and drive to succeed and maximize earnings, complemented by a competitive spirit
  • A preference for working in a KPI-driven environment where a significant portion of earnings is performance-based
  • Experience with CRM systems and an understanding of their significance
  • A genuine interest in contributing to a mission-driven, for-profit organization addressing the critical challenge of climate change.
