About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Community Wellbeing Practitioner - Social Impact Specialist. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering community-based initiatives that align with our social impact objectives.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement effective social programmes, promoting positive change in our community. Your leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to respond flexibly to unexpected demands will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead community-based initiatives that align with our social impact objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design and deliver effective social programmes.
  • Build relationships with community groups, organizations, and stakeholders to promote our social impact initiatives.
  • Develop and implement data collection tools to measure the effectiveness of our social programmes.
  • Work with our Regional Social Impact & Development Manager to develop and implement bespoke projects.
  • Deliver training and development programmes to enhance the skills and capabilities of our team.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in community development and social programme delivery.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond to unexpected demands.
  • Confident presenter and trainer.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Professional qualification in community or social science discipline.
  • Awareness of current issues affecting community-based working.
  • Knowledge of recent and relevant educational legislation.
  • Knowledge of social science/community development theories and evidence.
