Full-time position, 36 hours per week
Salary Range: £32,732 - £39,096 annually
An exceptional opportunity has emerged to become a part of the Apprenticeships Team at Norwich City College. We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill a full-time role within our Plumbing and Domestic Heating division. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of current industry experience along with at least a Level 3 qualification. This position offers a chance to promote best practices and significantly influence the development of future Plumbing, Gas, and Domestic Heating Technicians entering the workforce.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering both practical and theoretical sessions to groups of apprentices. Engaging with learners and employers to conduct regular assessments and reviews of workplace competencies will also be a key part of your responsibilities. Therefore, a robust technical skill set, coupled with excellent interpersonal abilities, is essential. We maintain high standards for our students, necessitating effective tracking and documentation of work and assessments, which requires strong organizational skills and proficiency in IT.
While teaching qualifications are preferred, we encourage applications from individuals with the requisite industry skills and experience (minimum of five years), strong communication skills (both written and verbal), and a genuine passion for fostering learning and development.
