Full-time Position: 36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Salary Range: £32,732 - £39,096 per annum
An exciting opportunity has emerged to become a part of the City College Norwich Apprenticeships Team.

We are seeking a full-time professional to join our Electrical Installation division, requiring candidates to possess a minimum of five years of relevant industry experience and at least a Level 3 qualification.

This role presents a fantastic chance to promote best practices and significantly influence the development of future electricians entering the workforce.


As an instructor, you will be responsible for delivering both practical and theoretical sessions to groups of electrical apprentices. Additionally, you will engage with learners and employers to conduct regular assessments and evaluate workplace competencies, necessitating a robust technical skill set alongside exceptional interpersonal abilities.

Our institution maintains high standards for our students, requiring you to meticulously track and document work and assessments. Therefore, strong organizational skills and efficiency, as well as proficiency in IT, are essential.

If you have experience in providing constructive feedback and setting challenging yet achievable targets, this will be advantageous when considering this position.


While teaching qualifications are preferred, we encourage applications from individuals with the necessary industry expertise and experience (minimum of five years), outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal), and a genuine passion for facilitating learning and development.
