Electrical Installation Lecturer/Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Installation Lecturer/Teacher to join our dynamic team at a leading college in Norfolk. If you have expertise in electrical installation and a passion for inspiring the next generation of electricians, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in Electrical Installation, ensuring students achieve their qualifications and develop practical skills and theoretical knowledge.
  • Support learners in achieving their qualifications, providing feedback and assessing their progress, and developing high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Create lesson plans and schemes of work tailored to student needs, ensuring a well-balanced approach to practical skills and theoretical knowledge.
  • Provide one-to-one and group support, mentoring students to ensure academic and personal development, and staying updated with industry standards, changes in regulations, and advancements in technology.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of the course.

Essential Requirements:

  • A recognised teaching qualification and knowledge in Electrical Installation.
  • Previous teaching experience in an FE setting or Secondary Setting, ideally as an Electrical Installation Lecturer/Teacher.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students from a variety of backgrounds, and a passion for education and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching.
