Job Title: Plumbing and Gas Instructor

Job Type: Part-time, Fixed-term

Hours: 28.8 hours per week

Location: Norwich City College

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumbing and Gas Instructor to join our Apprenticeship Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to apprentices in the Plumbing and Gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver practical and theoretical training sessions to groups of apprentices
  • Conduct periodic reviews and assessments of learner competence in the workplace
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with learners, employers, and other stakeholders
  • Track, record, and report on learner progress and assessment outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of apprenticeship programs and curriculum content

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the Plumbing and Gas industry
  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of plumbing and gas systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Confident user of IT systems and software
