Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Plumbing and Domestic Heating Team as a part-time, fixed-term instructor. The successful candidate will have a strong technical skillset and excellent interpersonal skills to deliver practical and theory sessions to groups of apprentices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality training and assessment to apprentices in plumbing and gas installation
  • Conduct periodic reviews and assessments of learner competence in the workplace
  • Develop and maintain industry relationships with employers and stakeholders
  • Track and record learner progress and assessments
  • Provide constructive feedback and set challenging but realistic targets for learners

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the plumbing and gas industry
  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent
  • Teaching qualifications or experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
