Job Title: Plumbing & Gas Tutor / Assessor

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing & Gas Tutor to join our team. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to learners.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Plumbing & Gas industry, with a proven track record of delivering training and assessment. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with learners, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training and assessment to learners on Plumbing & Gas apprenticeships
  • Support learners to achieve their qualifications, including Functional Skills
  • Develop and implement approved training materials, promoting standardization and best practice
  • Monitor learner progress, including regular progression reviews and additional support reviews

Requirements:

  • A1 Assessor Award (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33 etc.)
  • Teaching qualification (desirable)
  • Functional Skills qualifications at Level 2 (desirable)
  • L3 Plumbing & Gas qualification
  • A minimum 5 years' occupational experience within the Plumbing & Gas industry
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage own diary
  • Experience working with young people
  • Full UK Driving License and use of own vehicle
