Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our Plumbing and Domestic Heating Team as a part-time, fixed-term Lecturer in Plumbing and Gas. The successful candidate will have up-to-date industry skills, a strong technical skillset, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver practical and theory sessions to groups of apprentices
  • Engage with learners and employers to conduct periodic reviews and assess competence in the workplace
  • Track, record, and assess work and assessments
  • Provide constructive feedback and set challenging but realistic targets

Requirements:

  • Up-to-date industry skills with a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • At least a Level 3 qualification
  • Teaching qualifications or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Patience and passion to help others learn, develop, and progress
