About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Railway Team Leader to join our team in London Enterprise House. As a key member of our Signalling Maintenance team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians in the maintenance and upkeep of our rail network.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of work, while also developing and implementing effective safety arrangements and quality control processes. You will work closely with our operations team to identify and address any issues that may impact the smooth operation of our network.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in railway maintenance and a proven track record of leading teams. You will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians in the maintenance and upkeep of our rail network
  • Develop and implement effective safety arrangements and quality control processes
  • Work closely with our operations team to identify and address any issues that may impact the smooth operation of our network
  • Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of work
  • Develop and implement effective training programs for team members
Requirements
  • Proven experience in railway maintenance and leadership
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to develop and implement effective safety arrangements and quality control processes
