The RoleWe're seeking a skilled and motivated Railway Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rail network.
As a Nightshift Maintenance Specialist, you'll work closely with our team leaders and operatives to deliver high-quality maintenance services. You'll be responsible for inspecting, faulting, and maintaining railway infrastructure, including tracks, signals, and other critical systems.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and maintenance, with experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You'll be a team player with excellent communication skills, able to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and maintain railway infrastructure, including tracks, signals, and other critical systems
- Identify and report faults, and implement corrective actions to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Work collaboratively with team leaders and operatives to deliver high-quality maintenance services
- Develop and maintain knowledge of railway infrastructure and maintenance best practices
- Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
