Job Summary:

Unlimit is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Expert to lead our Compliance team in the UK. As a key member of our global fintech company, you will be responsible for ensuring our business operations comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Manage relationships with regulatory bodies, including the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
  • Provide compliance advice to senior management and other departments.
  • Conduct research and analysis on regulatory matters and provide actionable advice.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and provide ongoing compliance coverage for the UK and European business operations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a compliance department in a payments sector organization in EU/UK, and/or a banking sector organization.
  • Expert knowledge of EU/UK sector-specific financial regulation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior employment experience within UK or EU Regulators (in particular the FCA).
  • Prior experience within compliance audits or financial services advisory roles.
  • Interest and exposure to cryptocurrency business and compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with employment law and corporate law.
