Role Overview:
The primary objective of this role is to oversee and guide a versatile team that is prepared to engage across various departments. The focus is on delivering exceptional customer service, effective stock management, and proficient cash handling. This position demands a commitment to enhancing customer experiences both on the sales floor and in the back office through agility and responsiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Stockroom and Shopfloor team in actively supporting store operations, ensuring high standards of customer service, merchandising, and replenishment as needed.
- Conduct workforce planning by utilizing sound judgment to allocate resources effectively, demonstrating flexibility in approach while supporting sales initiatives.
- Encourage efficiency, flexibility, and precision within the team to manage deliveries and minimize stock loss or damage, adhering to all stock movement and handling procedures.
- Implement best practices and principles, ensuring that store teams adhere to back-of-house routines and guidelines.
- Ensure the team delivers accurate cash handling services, including the issuance of till floats and the reconciliation of cash and vouchers.
- Maintain regular communication with Store Manager and Service Managers regarding stock levels.
- Collaborate effectively with third-party contractors to maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment.
