Job Title: Community Curator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Curator to lead the development and delivery of our public programmes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for championing live and participatory experiences, generating collaborations with local communities, and platforming dynamic artists and experimental practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programme Development: Develop and implement a range of public programmes that engage diverse audiences and promote cultural exchange.
  • Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with local communities, stakeholders, and partners to generate collaborations and co-create programme content.
  • Artist Development: Identify and support emerging and established artists, providing opportunities for them to showcase their work and develop their practice.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, and budget management.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team to develop and implement programme strategies, and contribute to the overall success of Theartgorgeous.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in programme development, community engagement, and artist development.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, project management, and team collaboration skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as arts management, cultural studies, or a related field.

Working Conditions:

  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours of Work: Full-time, 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:30am-5:45pm, with one hour for lunch.
  • Circumstances: An enhanced DBS check is required for this post.
