Role: Programme Development Manager (International Development Charity)

Salary: £40-£45k per annum

Location: Hybrid in London

Civitas Recruitment Ltd is proud to be working with a renowned international charity dedicated to achieving gender equality for women. The charity aims to empower women as entrepreneurs and has already created over 4 million jobs for women, positively impacting over 15 million lives across various countries.

The Programme Development Manager will be responsible for managing a complex portfolio of institutional and corporate grants, securing funds for new programmes, and collaborating with the team to achieve the charity's objectives. This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working options.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record in fundraising from large institutional donors, trusts, and foundations. The role will involve approximately 70% fundraising and 30% grant management. The successful candidate will be a team player, passionate about working in the international development sector, and committed to driving social impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of institutional and corporate grants
  • Secure funds for new programmes
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve the charity's objectives
  • Fundraise from large institutional donors, trusts, and foundations
  • Manage grants and ensure effective grant reporting
