Job Summary

Prospectus is seeking a highly skilled Programme Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a crucial role in identifying and securing funding opportunities to support our mission.

About the Role

The Programme Development Manager will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and prospecting new institutional donors to secure funding for our programmes
  • Ensuring the effective delivery of a portfolio of institutional and corporate grants
  • Providing high-quality project information to internal and external stakeholders
  • Extracting and quality assuring project data for reporting purposes
  • Leading proposals for new and existing donors, coordinating inputs from the organisation and network colleagues

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A demonstrable track record of securing large, multi-year grants from different types of funders
  • Experience working in development projects in Eastern Africa
  • Strong project management and coordination skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
