Deputy Service Manager Opportunity

Leader Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Deputy Service Manager to join our client's care services in Brighton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled care professional to contribute to a dynamic team and make a positive impact on the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing semi-independent homes, ensuring compliance with local authority regulations.
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care for young people, promoting their well-being and independence.
  • Coordinate placement setups, care packages, and risk assessments to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Lead staff training, supervision, and development to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure health and safety, safeguarding, and compliance across all units, maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
  • Build relationships with external agencies, including social services and the police, to ensure effective collaboration and support.

Requirements:

  • Level 4/5 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care.
  • Proven experience in a care management role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality care services.
  • Excellent leadership and operational management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • A passion for providing exceptional care services and achieving positive outcomes for young people.
