Our Business

We are a Private Equity-backed insurance broking business with Head Office operations based in the UK. We are a top 30 broker, growing rapidly having completed numerous acquisitions and doubled in size since our MBO. Due to continued growth and success, we are looking for an experienced Account Executive to join our team looking after clients and growing Commercial business across the North West region.

Job Summary

The successful Account Executive will be responsible for managing a book of business for existing clients and will develop a strong pipeline of new business in relation to various lines of Commercial Insurance, whilst ensuring full FCA compliance. The overall purpose of the role will be to generate revenue for the business and ensure a high-quality service is provided to all clients in accordance with their needs and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Closing the sale and ensuring cover is on risk
  • Monitoring own sales performance in line with targets and effectively manage the client portfolio
  • Handle any complaints in accordance with regulation, the Company's Conduct Policy and Guide to Best Practice
  • Achieve and maintain a high level of customer service and always promote exceptional customer care standards
  • Liaising with Account Handlers when appropriate

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an Account Executive role within a broker environment, looking after Commercial Insurance in the North West
  • Working knowledge of all Commercial Insurance products
  • Exemplary customer service skills with the ability to build solid relationships with clients and insurers
  • Regulatory and compliance awareness
