About the Role

We are seeking a charismatic and engaging Bingo Host to join our team at The Rank Group. As a Bingo Host, you will be responsible for presenting a professional and enjoyable environment for our guests, ensuring they have a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Present bingo games in an inclusive and stress-free manner for all guests.
  • Be responsible for all events from beginning to end, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for our guests.
  • Presentation of bingo games in a warm, clear, and engaging manner, with varied intonation and peaks and troughs as appropriate to the audience.
  • Presentation of bingo and events in a fun and engaging way, with excellent product knowledge of the specifics of each individual game.
  • Prepare all event content, games, prizes, and equipment ahead of the event, and brief the venue teams with timings and plans for events and entertainment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of our entertainment delivery, and support, coach, and develop the team to deliver the very best events.
  • Play a lead role within the calling team and Team Members before, during, and after events, and build good working relationships with the floor team to enhance the customer experience.
  • Maintain all equipment, ensuring it is used and stored correctly, and report any damaged equipment promptly.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience of presenting, hosting events, or performances.
  • Experience of performing to a variety of people.
  • Skilled in all areas of events and entertainment, including planning and promoting, with a fine attention to detail.
  • A broad knowledge of audio-visual equipment and staging.
