Job Summary

Aberdeenshire Council is seeking an experienced Programme Management Office Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our Programme Management Office, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our ambitious transformation programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of project managers and analysts in planning, monitoring, and reporting on various projects and workstreams within the programme.
  • Liaise with project managers, senior managers, and sponsors to ensure alignment of objectives, expectations, and resources across the transformation programme.
  • Oversee the governance of projects and workstreams, ensuring compliance with council policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including project sponsors, senior managers, and other key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in programme management, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a customer-focused approach.
