Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Residential Child Care Worker at Exceptional Care. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable young people with complex needs.

About the Role

As a Residential Child Care Worker, you will be responsible for creating a safe, stable, and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of our young people. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement individualized care plans, provide emotional support, and facilitate positive relationships with our young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to young people with complex needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with our team
  • Facilitate positive relationships with young people and promote their emotional well-being
  • Work closely with our team to ensure a safe and stable environment
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Level 3 or 4 Children and Young People's Workforce qualification or equivalent
  • 1 year's experience supporting young people in a children's residential setting
  • Full UK manual driving license (preferred)
