We are seeking to appoint an Employee Engagement Events Manager for our esteemed client. This role is ideal for an innovative events specialist who can conceptualize and execute internal initiatives and gatherings aimed at enhancing employee experience.
Your target audience will encompass a diverse range of professionals, both office-based and remote, necessitating experience in engaging a varied workforce. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of creativity and project management skills. This position is integral to a broader Internal Communications team, whose mission is to align employees with the organization's strategic goals, mission, and vision.
Strong stakeholder management capabilities are essential, as you will serve as a trusted consultant to senior leadership.
This position requires in-office presence three days a week (this is a firm requirement).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive Events strategy that aligns with the overarching Internal Communications framework.
- Design and execute regular internal initiatives and events to boost employee engagement and foster open dialogue between leadership and staff.
- Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including the management of the events calendar.
- Utilize various internal communication channels to promote events and initiatives.
- Manage event logistics, including presentations, materials, and promotional content.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of engagement initiatives with broader Internal Communications and People Strategy.
- Source and negotiate with vendors, venues, and suppliers to secure resources within budgetary limits, coordinating with the procurement team as necessary.
- Administer event budgets, including cost estimation, allocation, and expense tracking.
- Apply a strategic and creative lens to internal communications when developing initiatives and events, ensuring they support the overall communications strategy.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of events through attendee feedback and provide actionable recommendations for future improvements.
- Enhance employee engagement and morale through innovative and interactive event experiences.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in internal communications and event management to continuously refine strategies and approaches.
