HR Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Administrator to join our team at Portfolio HR & Reward. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the HR Department, ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the HR Department, including data entry, record-keeping, and document management.
  • Assist with HR processes related to recruitment, onboarding, and compliance, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain and secure employee records and personnel files, adhering to data protection and confidentiality guidelines.
  • Ensure accurate data for payroll and HR reporting, utilizing IT applications to streamline processes.
  • Conduct safeguarding checks, including references and DBS checks, to ensure the well-being and safety of employees.
  • Act as a point of contact for HR-related inquiries, providing excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Track probation and absence management processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in HR services, identifying areas for development and implementing changes to enhance the employee experience.
Requirements:
  • Level 2 qualification in English, Maths, and Science.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, with experience in IT applications.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, with a commitment to confidentiality and safeguarding.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the team.
