Job Overview

Position Summary

We are pleased to announce an opening for a Wellbeing Co-ordinator to become part of our dedicated and enthusiastic team. This role is focused on supporting older individuals in maintaining their independence and enhancing their quality of life.

Compensation: Approximately £27.5k FTE

Employment Type: Full or Part-time options available, with a minimum of 22.5 hours per week and a maximum of 37.5 hours per week.

Work Environment: On-site

Our organization, along with its associated charity, is committed to serving the diverse communities in the region. We provide housing solutions for older adults, enabling them to live independently while receiving personalized, comprehensive support. Our charity allocates substantial funds annually to local voluntary initiatives, ensuring a broad impact within the community.

We are currently in the process of refining our strategic direction, aiming to extend our services beyond our existing framework and to enhance our overall impact. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in realizing these ambitious goals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist the Wellbeing Team Lead and Projects Manager in overseeing daily operations.
  2. Empower residents to maintain their independence through a tailored, holistic approach.
  3. Engage with external organizations to advocate for and support our residents.
  4. Design and implement activities that foster community engagement and strengthen external relationships.
  5. Collaborate with residents and their families to develop and review personalized Wellbeing Plans.
  6. Participate in an on-call rotation to support the Wellbeing Team as needed.

Candidate Profile

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience in health or social care settings, particularly with older populations.

· Familiarity with administrative processes.

Essential Skills:

· Strong teamwork capabilities.

· Ability to manage a diverse workload and work independently.

· Creative problem-solving skills.

· Excellent interpersonal abilities for effective communication with various stakeholders.

· Capacity to build and sustain positive, long-term relationships.

· Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

· Competent in IT applications.
