Position Summary

We are thrilled to announce an opportunity for a Wellbeing Support Coordinator to become a vital part of our dedicated team, focused on enhancing the lives of older individuals living independently. Compensation: Approximately £27.5k FTE

Employment Type: Full or Part-time options available, with a minimum of 22.5 hours per week and a maximum of 37.5 hours per week.

Work Environment: On-site

We prioritize a person-centered approach, ensuring our residents receive dynamic and holistic assistance tailored to their needs. Our charity allocates substantial funds annually to support local initiatives, enhancing the well-being of the community.

With a commitment to growth and improvement, we are in the process of finalizing an ambitious strategy aimed at broadening our impact within the community, and the selected candidate will play a crucial role in realizing these objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist the Wellbeing Team Lead and Projects Manager in overseeing daily operations.
  2. Empower residents to maintain their independence through a personalized and holistic approach.
  3. Engage with residents proactively, initiating conversations while respecting personal boundaries.
  4. Collaborate with external organizations to advocate for and support our residents.
  5. Design and implement community enrichment programs that foster internal relationships and connect with the broader community.
  6. Work alongside residents and their families to develop and review personalized Wellbeing Plans.
  7. Participate in an on-call rotation to meet the needs of the Wellbeing Team.

Qualifications

Preferred Experience:

· Background in health or social care, particularly with older adults.

· Familiarity with administrative processes.

Essential Skills:

· Strong teamwork capabilities.

· Ability to manage a diverse workload and work independently.

· Creative problem-solving skills.

· Excellent interpersonal abilities for engaging with various stakeholders.

· Capacity to build and sustain positive relationships.

· Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

· Competent in IT applications.
